A logistics and supply-chain leader residing in Kansas City, Kansas, Michael D. Schoenfeldt has spent more than 20 years in the US Army. He joined active service in 1998 and has continuously been placed in positions of increasing responsibility. After demonstrating adeptness at developing and applying strategies to improve processes and strengthen operational efficiencies, Michael D. Schoenfeldt was put in charge of tactical-level organizations of 30-220 personnel and then promoted to chief operations officer for organizations of 600-3,600 people.

In 2013, Mr. Schoenfeldt was named chief of staff and deputy commander of a brigade where he supervised the overseas deployment of 600 equipment containers and 500 rolling stock pieces over five bases in the Middle East. He also provided food, fuel, ammunition, and medical support for more than 3,500 team members. In 2015, he was promoted to battalion commander and in 2019, commander of an armored brigade combat team of 4,500 people with over 800 pieces of rolling stock and an annual budget of about $160 million.

Michael Schoenfeldt has vast experience at leading multicultural teams, training personnel, establishing operational and fiscal policies, and solving complex problems through negotiations and execution. He has also completed four combat deployments in the Middle East and four operational deployments in Kuwait and South Korea.

Outside the military, Mr. Schoenfeldt is a family man and active community volunteer. He supports City Union Mission, That Man Is You, and a local high school Fathers Club.
